Nimbus Trio make their Adelaide debut at Elder Hall, University of Adelaide as part of the 2018 Adelaide Fringe!

Nimbus Trio will be performing an all new music program including works from their album Novum along with new works by Australian composer Kitty Xiao and Sarah Elise Thompson.

Novum explores new expression for piano trio by Kitty Xiao. The works evoke images of renowned Australian photographers Jane Brown and Narelle Autio and explore human discovery in face of the world.

Nimbus Trio are advocators of new music and commission, perform works of living composers. Nimbus Trio are Kitty Xiao (composer/piano), Jessica Laird (flute), Chloe Sanger (violin) and are a represented artist of Move Records.

Nimbus Trio consists of composer/pianist Kitty Xiao, flautist Jessica Laird and violinist Chloe Sanger. Lovers of new music, the ensemble commission and perform music of living composers including Kitty’s original compositions. Nimbus Trio have released their first album Novum as a represented artist of Move Records label. Their music has been broadcasted throughout Australia including ABC Classic FM, 3MBS and PBS. The group have performed at various venues and festivals including Deakin Edge, Elder Hall at University of Adelaide, Meat Market, Adelaide Fringe, Mapping Melbourne Festival and look forward to their debut at Melbourne Recital Centre in 2018.
